We were reading yesterday’s “Who What Wear Daily” Trend Report, and it was all about the ladylike jacket.  In the world haute couture, there’s only ONE ladylike jacket: Chanel. For the rest of us, thankfully, there are beautiful homages to the genius of Coco Chanel at every price point. We love the resurgence of the ladylike jacket, which is simply perfect for the office, where it’s often cooler in your cube than it is outside, or hotter than blazes whilst it’s sub-zero outside.

This new year offers us all a new beginning when it comes to our wardrobe and makeup choices. The job market is more competitive than ever, and a woman in business must work all the harder to be seen as a professional than her male counterparts. But unlike men, we have a much broader range of choices when it comes to our appearance. Aside from wardrobe, we also have the opportunity to update our makeup, presenting a fresh new look. Ladylike jackets and professional garb call for subtle-yet-sophisticated makeup, polished and long-wearing.

The beauty of colorOn instant eye shadows is that you may vary the intensity by blending out the colors before setting them for the day with our Get Set! powder. You’re eye shadow will last a full workday, and even into after-work drinks and beyond.

Think of the New Year as a time to present a “newer” you. It starts in the mirror, and even if it was not one of your New Year’s Resolutions, you will only improve your professional appearance and demeanor. Makeup really DOES make a difference!
