For many people, this is THE official summer kick-off – we think it’s the fireworks. Whatever the reason, the Independence Day holiday is met with total abandon, so-bad-for-you-you-love-it foods (we’re looking at you, hot dogs), watermelon, wearing your bathing suit ALL day, the smell of sunscreen and mosquito repellant, backyard fireworks for days before and after, and that one huge amazing display in every city and town to celebrate America’s independence, and especially now, to celebrate our troops fighting for the freedom of others.

It’s Friday, and we have a new member of the Winners Circle.
